In 2013, he launched “A Better Lebanon”, a constructive initiative to generate public policies and to empower national public, private and civil society institutions and promote productive coexistence in the country.
Frem is today:
Neemat Frem believes in interfaith dialogue and is committed to developing a civilized and plural Lebanese community. He particularly strives to strengthen productive coexistence.
Neemat Frem believes in the philosophy of INDEVCO Group: “What is good for the community is good for the company.” He pursues this social mission by supporting education for all, promoting socio-economic and cultural plans that energize the economic wheel, improve the life of the Lebanese citizens and enroot them in their land. Having deep-seated faith in Lebanon and its people, the group launched the “T’alak Bi Baladak” (Hold on to Your Country), “Al I’lm Youhariru Al Insan” (Education is Your Powerful Weapon), and “Al I’lm Lil Jami’” (Education for All) campaigns. Frem calls for transforming social responsibility into a social strategy.
Faith in the Lebanese Potentials
Frem believes that the productive sectors should invest in the potentials of the Lebanese to bring forth prosperity and activate the role of the youth. He is a strong advocate of the Lebanese workforce and stresses that the Lebanese are the most worthy of job opportunities. This was very clear in the group’s latest campaign “Al Lubnani Amel El Fark”(The Lebanese Worker: A Factor of Distinction) which paid tribute to the Lebanese labor force and highlighted the added value it brings to industrial production and economic growth.
Neemat Frem believes that industrial excellence goes beyond achievements, profits and international expansion. It holds a greater responsibility: the duty to protect the surrounding environment and ensure sustainable natural and human resources in Lebanon. Frem calls for the adoption of better policies that preserve nature and promote the use of renewable energy resources.
